Owen Bargreen (94): The brilliant 2022 Dr. Loosen ‘GG Erdener Treppchen’ Riesling offers a beautiful bouquet with kerosene, papaya, and shades of shortbread on the nose, with lemon rind accents. The palate is rich and viscous with serious weight and verve. A gorgeous wine now at the three year mark, this has a long way to go in the cellar.

Falstaff (94): The aroma carries a beautiful freshness: Amalfi lemon, bergamot, lemon balm, also basil and cress. On the palate the wine shows a highly resolved, silky texture, fine phenolics and a lively acidity. Very much finesse and extract for long years of bottle ageing.
