Drinking Window 2025 - 2045
The 2022 Malbec Chañares Estate partially fermented in open-top tanks for gentle extraction. It aged for 18 months in 55% new French oak. This evokes the foothills, with aromas of jarilla, pennyroyal and heterotheca, followed by black fruit, lavender, black tea and violet. It is compact and juicy, with a chalky texture and fine, active tannins. The combination of dark depth and vibrant energy makes it feel like two wines in one. - By Joaquín Hidalgo, August 2025

Drinking Window 2025 - 2042
The 2022 Malbec Chanares Estate Los Arboles is all Malbec and all bold, aged in 50% new French oak for 18 months. An expression of true mountain fruit grown in granitic soils, it offers fresh red fruit contrasted against substantial tannin. With both texture and tension, the full-bodied core of the wine is about focus and energy, seasoned in wild thyme. Drink now through 2042.
