Le Masciare's Taurasi DOCG Pian del Bosco 2013 is a reflection of the rich terroir of Paternopoli, Italy. This wine boasts an intense ruby red color that evolves with age, offering a complex bouquet of cherry, forest fruit, violet, and tobacco. With balanced tannins and acidity, it finishes with notes of plums, black cherry, and black pepper, making it ideal for pairing with roasted red meats, game, and aged cheeses.

Composition: Aglianico grape varietal from old vines planted over 70 years ago on clayey terrain with limestone deposits.

Winemaking:  Pre-fermentation maceration at cold temperatures followed by controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 15-16 days.

Aging:  Matured in steel tanks for 18 months, then in French tonneaux or ‘botte’ for at least 12 months, followed by a minimum of 24 months in the bottle.
