The 2021 Red Wine (Contra Costa County) is 65% Carignane and 35% Mataro, both from Oakley Road. It is another stellar wine in this range. A blast of dark red fruit, spice, leather, tobacco and incense fills out the layers nicely. This dark, structured red blend is superb.
