Our Tasting Note:
A deep ruby-red core. The nose is pronounced yet elegant, with fresh red cherry, raspberry and a little tart plum, pretty violet florals and that granitic kick of minerality. Medium-bodied, with lovely flavor intensity and purity, the cooler year brings a brighter, more lifted expression of fruit. Fine, polished tannins and lively acidity keep everything balanced and make this almost too easy to drink—a great thing at this price! The long finish carries the fresh red fruits and stony mineral notes with plenty of energy and harmony. An outstanding value!

Soils: The plots for this vineyard are planted to granite at 500m (1640 ft) elevation.
Winemaking: After careful selection both in the vineyard and in the cellar, fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks, with controlled temperature. It aged for 18 months in second and third year used French oak barrels.
