Le Brun de Neuville Côte Brute NV
Wine Enthusiast (93): Aged for seven years before disgorging, this deliciously mature wine is full of Pinot Noir richness. It has a warm character that seems to be the style of this producer in the Côte de Sézanne. Named after the king who created the French monarchy, the wine has toast, almonds and a generous, creamy aftertaste. Drink now.
Gilbert & Gaillard (88): Light yellow with greenish tints. The nose opens up to delectable fruity aromatics (white-fleshed fruits, plum, grape...). More of the predominant fruit on the palate. A round, melted and rich style that would work well as an aperitif but even better as a food Champagne.
Bettane et Desseauve (13): Mature bouquet, between honeyed notes and undergrowth. Well-held mouth that fades gently on a discreet finish.
