Chateau Moncontour Cremant de Loire ROSE NV
Wine Critic Reviews
Wine Enthusiast (87): Aged for at least 12 months on its lees, this red-fruit-flavored wine is attractive and crisp. It has a lightly tannic edge as well as plenty of acidity and freshness. It is ready to drink.
Wine Enthusiast (87): This pale rosé, made from Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc, is attractively fresh, with balanced acidity and fruitiness. The wine offers a tang of plum skins as well as a bite of raspberry. Drink now.
Wine Enthusiast (87): Young, very crisp wine, definitely in the bright acidity style of sparkling wine, its fruits going towards currants, with a final grapefruit citrus element. It does need a few more months' bottle age to lose its complete emphasis on acidity.
