The 2023 Schlossberg Grand Cru is a co-plantation of mainly Riesling, with some Pinot Gris and Muscat, from a super-dry parcel of this granitic site. This was made from a tiny yield of just 15 hl/ha. Its aromatic brilliance is immediately apparent, with such a scented top note of the purest lemon. A touch of citrus blossom hovers before the palate plunges into austere stone. This is super slender and direct, adding a floral, smooth suppleness to that naked stone. It's supplemented by a structure that is strait-laced, uncompromising and so very Schlossberg.
