Composition: 100% Malbec grapes from vineyards on calcareous soils in the Uco Valley, with 80% from Jardin de Hormigas in Paraje Altamira and 20% from Gualtallary.
Winemaking: Hand-harvested grapes with careful bunch selection. Fermentation involved brief and gentle pumping-over, up to 3 times daily, at 24°C (75°F) using indigenous yeasts.
Aging: 75% of the wine aged for 15 months in concrete pools, and 25% in 3,500-liter untoasted French oak foudres, followed by 12 months in the bottle.
