**** JLL (out of 5 stars) the highest rating for this wine ever!
John Livingstone-Learmonth (JLL)
clear, quite dark red colour; blackberry with a soft manner leads the nose, presents well. The palate connects well to the nose, holds cosy black fruits, is tasty, rounded, also fluid, which works nicely. The juice is sexy, and there are light, violet tannins, a bit of graphite present. It’s a go-go, w.o.w. wine. To 2028 Feb 2023
My Tasting Note (11/23/24)
Deep ruby core, lighter ruby edges. The nose rises easily from the glass with top notes of dark red to black cherry and berry fruits, spiked with lavender and violet florals, spicy and savory notes with the suggestion of granite rock minerality and earth that sit just below all those primary top notes. The palate is med/med+ bodied, with med/med+ tannins, an penetrating, intense, but balanced flavor intensity that sails into a long fruit and savory driven finish.
