The Spätburgunder Rosé Sekt Brut Nature was made from grapes harvested in the Niedermenniger Herrenberg harvested in 2023 and was whole bunch pressed and underwent its secondary fermentation in bottle for 18 months before being disgorged in May 2026 (the disgorgement date is not provided on the label). The wine offers a stunning and hugely complex nose of prune, cranberry, barbecue herbs, rose petals, and smoke. It is just brutally young and marked by tart chalk at this stage and really needs a few years of bottle aging to let its flavors develop, but there is great potential. This is a truly remarkable Sekt in the making! 2030-2045
