Our Take: Fresh and lively, with crunchy raspberry, red cherry and wild strawberry accented by violet, dried herbs and a subtle earthy, mineral edge. The palate is light to medium-bodied and supple, with bright acidity, juicy red fruit and fine, understated tannins. Aged in older barrels, it stays focused and energetic, finishing with a gentle savory note and lingering freshness.

• Terroir: Located in the commune of Pommard, humid site, clay-dominant soil.
• Viticulture: Farmed by Seiichi, biodynamic (not certified), 40-50 hl/ha.
• Vinification: 100% de-stemmed, minimal SO2 addition before vinification, grapes chilled to 12°C, semi-carbonic maceration and ambient yeast fermentation in tank, gentle punch-downs at the end of fermentation, aged for 12 months in used barrels and for an additional 5 months in tank, no fining, no filtration, SO2 added when racked to tank and before bottling (30-50 ppm total at bottling).
