Pale in colour, especially at the rim, delicious perfume with rose petals, very elegant, on the lighter side but recognisably an Anne Gros wine. Anne Gros is among Vosne-Romanée’s most respected vignerons, and her work in Echézeaux has long been celebrated for its purity and finesse. The “Les Loachausses” climat, lying just below Grands Échezeaux, produces a particularly elegant expression of Grand Cru Pinot Noir—silky, aromatic, and deeply nuanced.

Terroir
The “Les Loachausses” climat rests on shallow clay-limestone soils with a stony subsoil that ensures excellent drainage. Its east-facing exposure allows for steady ripening while preserving vibrancy, yielding wines of aromatic delicacy, fine tannins, and persistent length.
