Our Tasting Note:  Med+ ruby red with ruby red edges. The nose is pronounced, savory, balsamic spice, with dark red fruits like raspberry and currants, a dusting of mocha, with bay leaf and sage herbs.  The palate is med+ with med/med+ acidity and tannins that are ripe and long.  The palate shows nice intensity, med+ to intense, with a gently persistent fruit, spice and savory combo.  This finishes long in the fruit, herbs and spice. Excellent!

For a Gran Seleczione this is a bargain!  Cappellina are clearly are pushing quality to it's highest level with this wine.  While 2018 doe snot get all the adoration of 2019 and 2021, the 2018 is drinking supremely well at the moment and is probably the most enjoyable wine of the group at the moment.
