Drinking window: 2026 - 2030
The 2024 Sancerre Les Chasseignes has a fine line that gives it lovely tension, precision and length. Though light in body, it displays good concentration. Having spent 18 months on lees in a combination of foudres, barrels and tank, it combines fresh nectarine fruit, a savory pastry note from its aging and a padded mid-palate due to clay in its soils. Expect a long chalky finish.

Vineyard: The single-vineyard ‘Les Chasseignes’ faces south/southeast, with chalky “terres blanches” soils. This warmer hillside vineyard ripens evenly yet quickly, and is often the first harvested. 
Vinification: Hand-harvested. Pressed; fermented on indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled steel tanks. Aged in 300L older oak cask and tank on fine lees for 18 months. 
Grape varieties: Sauvignon Blanc
Vineyard age: 45-year-old vines
Soil: Terres Blanches made up clay and Kimmeridgian limestone.
