Wine Critic Reviews
Falstaff (93): 2018 Vintage - Strong ruby, light ochre reflections, broader brightening on the rim. Delicately savoury plum fruit, notes of cassis and sweet cherry, candied orange zest and noble wood in the background. Complex, juicy palate with fine ripeness, pickled cherry and ripe tannins. Long with some nougat on the finish. Definite ageing potential.
Vinum Wine Magazine (15.5): 2018 Vintage - Notes of exotic fruits, apricot, noticeable acidity, volume, fullness, salinity, breed and thus length, should mature a little.
Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider (88): 2018 Vintage - With a floral edge to the red berries, the wine is medium-bodied, edgy, juicy and bright with a focus on all the sweet, crisp, ripe cassis. Enjoy this while waiting for its big brother to develop.
The Wine Independent (90): 2018 Vintage - Tasted in Sep 2022. When to drink: 2022 to 2033.
