Wine Critic Reviews

Adrian van Velsen - vvWine.ch (92): Reductive, mineral, forest fruits, truffle, cream; taut palate with marked tannins, powerful yet elegant, saline finish. (Drink from 2028 to 2045)

Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider (92): Lush, round, polished dark red fruits with loads of chalk deliver length and complexity. It is hard to find a better value from the Cotes de Bordeaux appellation. The wine blends 80% Merlot with 20% Cabernet Franc. Drink from 2025-2035.

Wine Maniacs (91): Highly vibrant, dynamic, a bit floral and a bit fruity, with certain spiciness, lively mid-palate finishing with fresh tannins. Well suited as a wine by the glass in bistronomic scene.

VertdeVin (90): The nose is fresh, aromatic and offers power as well as a certain spiciness. There are notes of fresh violet, iris and more slightly fresh blackcurrant associated with a hint of fresh small red berries as well as hints of pepper. The mouth is fruity, balanced and offers freshness, minerality, juiciness, a lovely tension as well as a fresh frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, violet and more slightly juicy/pulpy small blue fruits associated with touches of juicy/fresh small red berries as well as a hint of lilac, fine hints of chocolate and a subtle hint of clove. The tannins are supple and precise.
