Drinking Window 2025 - 2027
The 2022 Rosso del Veronese opens with a vivid blend of black cherries, minty herbs and cedary spice. This splashes across the palate, playful and juicy in style with rose-tinged wild berry fruits. It leaves the senses completely refreshed while tapering off classically dry with subtle hints of plum sauce.

Our Tasting Note: A vibrant, deep ruby in the glass, theL’Arco Rosso opens with pronounced aromas of ripe cherry, currants and blood orange, accented by leather, savory earth and a touch of tar. The palate is medium-plus in body, with juicy fruit and lively acidity that keep it mouthwatering and energetic. A pleasantly bitter citrus edge adds dimension to the rich fruit, while the wine’s intensity is balanced by an elegant feel. Long, fresh and full of character.

Grapes: 50% Corvina and Corvinone, 30% Rondinella, 15% Sangiovese, 5% Molinara
Winemaking: Careful hand sorting, destemmed and fermented in tank with native yeast. A minimum 12 months in traditional botti barrels and released 3 years after harvest. No fining, a delicate filtering to remove yeast, vegan. Minimal sulfur is added during fermentation and aging, no additional sulfur is added at bottling.
Vineyards: Practicing organic. From three vineyard sites, the Sangiovese is planted south near the Adige River with alluvial soils, the native grapes planted on rocky, clay soils in the Classico zone. Hand-harvested fruit from estate owned vineyards. Sangiovese was planted in 2004. The local native grapes, Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara are co-planted in the classic zone and are an average of 50 years old.
