Composition: Primarily Vermentino Nero, with a small amount of Massaretta (also known as Barsaglina). Vines are a mix of own rooted, pre-phylloxera vines from the 1800s and those planted in the early 1900s.
Winemaking: Whole cluster micro-fermentations
Aging: The Vermentino Nero is aged for two years in small concrete vats, while the Massaretta is aged in used oak for the same duration.

Vinum Wine Magazine (16.5): Intensiver Duft nach roten Früchten, besonders Himbeeren, Lakritze, auch Süssholz. Wirkt im Auftakt fast ein bisschen kitschig. Dazu florale Noten, Pfeffer und etwas Schwarztee. Im Gaumen zugänglich und mild, mit einem spürbaren Anflug von Kohlensäure. Wirkt warm und kühl zugleich.
