The 2024 Migan was still unbottled and I tasted a barrel sample of the blend that they foresee for the final wine, blending wine from their different plots—60% Montijo, 25% Tío Luís and 15% La Habanera. 2023 and 2024 are both concentrated; but there were no heat waves in 2024, and the tannins seem to have achieved a much better ripeness. It has the textbook spicy note from the volcanic soils from La Orotava, and it is super clean and precise. They expect to fill some 6,000 bottles around November 2025.
