Tasting Note: A lemon yellow to light gold core. A textured, expressive white blend with aromas of green apple, quince, citrus peel, and white peach layered over wet stone minerality. The palate is energetic yet broad, balancing ripe orchard fruits with bright acidity and a savory mineral thread, finishing long, fresh, and subtly saline.  The yin-yang interplay here is superb with the interplay of chenin's verve and roussanne's generosity.

Vineyard: The Roussanne is grown from echalas vines (bush vines - 2 sites) as well as trellised vines (2 sites). The Chenin blanc is grown from trellised vines. The soils are clay-shale rich soil with a high component of quartz rock. Using different varietals from different aspects of the Olifantsberg Mountain, situated at 300 m to 470 m above sea captures all the different characteristics of their beautiful terroir.
