Sweet herbs, apricots and nuances of spice form a delicate bouquet as the 2023 Bianco Pithos opens in the glass. This is a coy, mineral-driven effort with a hint of sour citrus and chalky minerals swirling throughout. It lingers long yet clean, leaving a subtle tinge of tart orchard fruit to fade. The 2023 is much less exotic and even lighter in color than the typical Pithos, which may be the result of the challenging vintage.
