The 2022 Pinot Noir Koosah Vineyard opens with a spice box bouquet as cloves and dusty sage give way to crushed back cherries and hints of cola. This is cool-toned and racy in style, with plush, ripe red and blue fruits elevated by notes of blood orange. Zesty acidity keeps the mouth watering through the long and gently structured finale as nuances of mint and exotic spice linger over a coating of black-tea-like tannins. The 2022 is full of energy yet boasts a powerful core of tension. Superb.
