The 2023 Chardonnay The Wild Bee wafts up with a cascade of confectionary spices and candied citrus tones that complement crushed yellow apples and nuances of fresh mint. Lifted and spry, it offers crisp mineral tones up front, complementing ripe pit fruits while taking on a more savory edge as a hint of sour citrus adds lovely inner tension. This 2023 finishes beautifully, saline yet fresh with a lemony concentration that puckers the cheeks.
