This wine was traditionally just called "Saint-Joseph" but they added the Ribaudes to it to reflect the site it actually comes from.

pale yellow robe; the nose involves dried apricot, grilling, salt-ginger touches. There is a nice little oiliness on the palate with notes of cooked citrus, the tang of the Marsanne notably, is solid along its path, shows grip on the finale. Technicals: 60% Marsanne, 40% Roussanne (both 1983-2003 2003 from La Ribaudy, Blanchard at Chavanay), fermented, raised 60-70% steel vat, 30-40% 1-7 year 300-litre, 400-litre & 550-litre oak casks 11 months (before 2012 was 5% new, 95% 1-5 year 228-litre & 550-litre oak casks 11 months), malo completed, assembled just before bottling, lightly filtered, called Les Ribaudes since 2020, 7,500-9,000 b
