Brigaldara's Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is an exquisite wine that embodies the essence of the Valpolicella Classica region. The wine is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, from the selection of the sparsest and best-exposed grape bunches to the traditional drying process that lasts approximately 120 days. The result is a wine with vibrant red cherry and berry aromas, a sweet glycerine sensation on the palate, and a classically dry finish with notable tannins.

Composition: Corvina, Rondinella, and other indigenous varietals. Vine age and soil type vary across the vineyard.
Winemaking: The grapes are fermented with skins and undergo pump-over twice daily for optimal color extraction.
Aging: One year in small wooden barrels followed by two years in large wooden barrels.

Wine Review Online (95): Brigaldara’s Cavolo Amarone display darker fruit flavors and more weight than their straight Amarone, yet maintains their signature elegance and balance. The 16.0 percent stated alcohol is integrated effortlessly into the flavors and weight. There’s no heat or raisiny flavors here, just purity. Incredibly bright and long, it finishes with a distinct and alluring tarry minerality and engaging bitterness. I tasted this wine during the heat of summer, and, despite its size, it still showed beautifully. I can only imagine how much more delightful it will be with consumed with hearty wintertime fare. Falstaff (93): It has a bright shimmering ruby red colour. On the nose it is finely drawn, with a slight barrel-spiciness, as well as aromas of cherry and plum fruit, blood orange and rosehip on the finish, and white pepper. It is very juicy and radiant on the palate, compact and polished, and with tension and vibrancy right through to the finish.
