Our Tasting Note: Med+ ruby, lighter gradation to the edge. Med+ nose, strawberry, raspberry, subtle earthy loam notes, a creamy edge. A medium body, medium grain soft tannins, a pronounced palate is dense but elegant, lots to give for a "Bourgogne".  A long, tasty, and very attractive finish.  Excellent!
Vineyard: .69 hectares: The vines for the Bourgogne Rouge are located in Vosne-Romanee and Chambolle-Musigny. Incredibly high quality for a regional level wine. From time to time it puts up a wine of village-level wine or even a premier cru quality.
Planted in: 1981-83
Maturation: Matured for 18 months in barrels used for one, two, and three years.
The wine’s characteristics: This Burgundy has a fluid structure and is elegantly persistent on the palate, a fine expression of the pinot noir grape. It is an enjoyable wine to be tasted young.  A great Cote de Nuits wine to enjoy young, but also capable of aging for a handful of years.
