Buttonwood Grove produces several styles of Chardonnay, including this fresh, fruity tank fermented version. In contrast to traditional barrel aged Chardonnays, this vibrant wine is crisp, clean, and refreshing. Bursting with fresh aromas of crisp orchard fruits, its bright grapefruit and lemon flavors mid-palate evolve into a lingering finish with soft notes of pineapple and white peach. At .83% RS, it's the perfect complement to spicier fare, grilled chicken, lobster, fresh fruit, and cheese plates. This vintage includes the NY Sustainable Farming trust mark on the back label.

2024 Vintage Notes:
Following a relatively mild winter with early bud break, the summer included warmer-than-average days interspersed with rainfall that supported steady vine development. These near-perfect weather conditions continued into the fall and throughout the harvest season, with warm days and cool nights accelerating ripening for most grape varieties. A mostly dry October allowed for longer hang times to push ripeness as far as possible. Overall, the 2024 growing season was one of the best the Finger Lakes has seen in many years.
