Short for Pétillant Naturel, this fun and fruity sparkling wine was handcrafted from Cabernet Franc grapes harvested on thier farm during the 2024 growing season. Light hints of floral aromas are followed by subtle strawberry and unique savory flavors. The oldest known method of producing sparkling wine, the Méthode Ancestrale used to create our Pét-Nat dates back to at least the 1500s. Fermented in the bottle and unfiltered, this wine has a lower alcohol content (10%) and will contain sediment. Delightfully bubbly, it pairs well with seafood and a variety of cheeses. This vintage includes the NY Sustainable Farming trust mark on the back label.

2024 Vintage Notes:
Following a relatively mild winter with early bud break, the summer included warmer-than-average days interspersed with rainfall that supported steady vine development. These near-perfect weather conditions continued into the fall and throughout the harvest season, with warm days and cool nights accelerating ripening for most grape varieties. A mostly dry October allowed for longer hang times to push ripeness as far as possible. Overall, the 2024 growing season was one of the best the Finger Lakes has seen in many years.
