The estate wine from their quinta is the 2024 Almanua, a blend of 50% Alvarinho, 25% Arinto and 25% Maria Gomes, fermented in stainless steel and 10% in foudre and barrels, where the wine matured for three months without malolactic. They have a sea breeze that you notice immediately when walking through the vineyards, and this gives the wine freshness. So, they added on the label the words "Terroir Marítimo" (sea terroir) and Coastal Selection. It's fruit-driven, young, fresh and clean, with 12.5% alcohol and very good acidity. 50,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in January 2025.

Tom's Tasting Note: A medium lemon yellow, straw edges.  The nose is pronounced with noses of lemon, lime, lychee, mixed exotic florals, and saline.  Medium bodied, the racy acidity is more med+ with good energy and tension.  Palate flavors are persistent, fresh, and they lean into the mineral and exotic side of these grapes nicely.  The finish is fresh, clean and mouthwatering.

Vinevinu: Father and son duo unite with a shared vision: to preserve the winemaking tradition of the Minho while incorporating innovation and creativity. Luís Cerdeira has over 30 years of experience with the Alvarinho grape, while his son Manuel brings a contemporary approach, together pushing the limits of winemaking.

Almanua: A wine of discovery and innovation, crafted in Requiao, a maritime terroir. The versatility of Alvarinho is explored when blended with other varietals planted in the same location. Alvarinho remains the dominant variety, and the blend is chosen each harvest.
