Tom's Tasting Note
A dark ruby core, vibrant ruby red edges. The pronounced nose rises from the glass with notes of red fruits (currants, cassis, bing cherry) with subtle spice notes like bay leaf, sage, white pepper, a touch of dusty mocha, tobacco leaf, and toast. The palate is med+ bodied, with med/med+ acidity and fine tannins that are refined and polished. The palate flavor intensity is great here, good tension and depth really allows the complexity here to expand on the palate into the long, fresh, delicious finish. Excellent work and for sure Cabernet made by the hands of a Pinot Noir winemaker!
92 pts Wine Spectator
