The 2025er Niedermenniger Herrenberg Riesling Spätlese Feinherb Meyer Nepal (the reference to this internal cask name is provided in small print on the label after the AP number) is an off-dry wine made from fruit picked on vines planted in the 1950s in the upper part of the vineyard. This offers a superb nose of fresh peach, herbs, and smoke. The wine is fresh, subtly creamy but animating, and incredibly finely chiseled. The wine is long and multi-layered in the finish.
