The 2023 Pinot Noir Whistling Ridge Beloved Acre is peppery and floral, as crushed woodland berries mix with wet stones, shavings of cedar and sweet smoke. It’s incredibly lifted and finessed, seeming to glide across the palate with silken textures and perfumed wildberry fruits. Saline mineral tones frame the finish, mingling with edgy tannins, yet a pop of zesty acidity balances all. Structured, yes, but still so enjoyable. The 2023 is loaded with character.

The 2023 Pinot Noir Beloved Acre Whistling Ridge is reticent to begin, demanding plenty of air before revealing scents of raspberry, blueberry, rooibos tea, saline and mushroom. The medium-bodied palate is brimming with perfumed fruit. It’s framed by velvety tannins and vibrant acidity and has a long, kaleidoscopic finish. 110 cases were made.
