The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Vieilles Vignes is a cuvée that seems to go from strength to strength. Derived as usual from holdings in Les Quartiers de Nuits—from the part of the lieu-dit that is not included within the boundaries of the Echézeaux Grand Cru—and contiguous Les Violettes, it unfurls in the glass with aromas of raspberries, rose petals and exotic spices. Medium to full-bodied, bright and seamless, with a perfumed core of fruit and supple tannins, it's beautifully balanced.
