Our Take: Perfumed with crushed cranberries, ripe cherry, and subtle violet, this wine is lifted by gentle spice and earthy nuance. Light on its feet yet quietly complex, it delivers silky texture, vibrant freshness, and a refined mineral streak that lingers with poise and precision.

• Vine Age: Planted 1974, 1980, 1982
• Terroir: "Les Ronsins", Nantoux. Higher on the slope, southwest-facing, limited sunshine exposure, well-draining clay and hard limestone.
• Viticulture: Farmed by Seiichi, biodynamic (not certified), low yields.
• Vinification: 100% whole cluster, minimal SO2 addition before vinification, grapes chilled to 12°C, semi-carbonic maceration and ambient yeast fermentation in tank, gentle punch-downs at the end of fermentation, aged for 12 months in used barrels and for an additional 3 months in tank, no fining, no filtration, SO2 added when racked to tank and before bottling (20-50 ppm total at bottling).
