The 2021 Barolo San Rocco marries finesse and power. Firm tannins drive through a core of red-toned fruit, iron, white pepper, dried rose petal and chalk. The 2021 is deep and resonant on the palate, but it also offers notable saline-infused vibrancy. It's a dynamic Barolo in the glass that reveals myriad shades of nuance over time. - By Antonio Galloni on January 2025
