Drinking window: 2026 - 2030
The 2024 Sancerre Les Montaignes offers bright lime citrus, fresh herbs and a little boxwood. Light in body with moderate concentration and rounded edges, the chiselled palate possesses excellent structure. The 2024 was raised half in amphora and half in wooden barrels of varying sizes. It derives tension and roundness from each, respectively.

Vineyard: The single-vineyard ‘Les Montaignes’ faces north/northeast, with chalky “terres blanches” soils. This cooler exposition, with its flaky clay and limestone soils, highlights the more vibrant, stony side of Sauvignon. 
Vinification: Hand-harvested. Pressed; fermented on indigenous yeasts in clay amphora and then aged also in amphora, on fine lees for 18 months. 
Grape varieties: Sauvignon Blanc
Vineyard age: 45-year-old vines
Soil: Terres Blanches made up clay and Kimmeridgian limestone.
