The 2021 Sorella is youthfully coy yet remarkably pretty, mixing dried cherries with rosemary, white pepper, stone dust and hints of cinnamon. It is a model of balance, vibrant and lively within, with tart raspberry and wild berries elevated by a tinge of citrus-laced dark chocolate. The finish is dramatically long and staining yet still fresh, leaving sweet tannins and an air of autumnal spice. While geared toward the cellar, there is no harm in checking in on the Sorella today.
