Our Take
Medium yellow-gold in color with an exceptionally fine, soft mousse. The nose is pronounced and distinctly vinous, opening with lemon peel and citrus oil before moving into red apple, pear and ripe white peach. Red berries, wildflowers and subtle herbal notes emerge with air, followed by bread dough, almond, warm spice and a light smoky reduction.
The palate is medium-plus to full-bodied, with concentrated orchard fruit and savory Meunier character balanced by bright, tangy acidity. Lemon, red apple, raspberry and white peach lead into pastry, crushed nuts, spice and salty earth. The texture is broad and creamy at first, but the wine tightens through the middle as its mineral structure becomes more apparent. It finishes long, dry and saline, with lingering citrus, chalk and lightly smoky notes.
This is a highly individual, deeply vinous Champagne that combines Meunier’s generosity with firm mineral energy and absolutely no dosage. It should appeal to drinkers who enjoy Jérôme Prévost, Cédric Bouchard and other Champagnes built around the quality and character of the base wine.

Pairing Suggestions
Pair with roast chicken, pork tenderloin, duck, grilled mushrooms, seared scallops, richer fish dishes, charcuterie, aged Comté or washed-rind cheeses. Serve around 50–54°F in a Zalto Universal or white Burgundy glass. Give the wine at least 15–20 minutes in the glass to allow the reduction and layered aromatics to unfold.
Organic Status
Lamblot has been certified organic since the 2021 vintage, so this 2023-base release qualifies as certified organically farmed. His work goes beyond certification through biodynamic preparations, agroforestry, lighter vineyard equipment and the integration of trees and animals to improve biodiversity.
