Our Tasting Note: Deep red cherry and wild strawberry lead the nose, with a little darker fruit, a hint of red licorice and a mineral note underneath. The palate has lovely depth for a Loire Pinot Noir, but it never feels heavy. Silky tannins and fresh acidity keep the ripe fruit in balance, carrying it through a long, gently fruity and savory finish. There’s a lot to enjoy here: the generosity of the 2022 vintage with the finesse that makes Menetou-Salon rouge so appealing.
