A blend of 90% Marsanne and 10% Roussanne from south-facing vines planted on granite soils, the 2023 Saint-Péray has a completely seductive bouquet of white flowers, honeysuckle, anise and spices. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive with a round, fleshy profile, it's long and ethereal, concluding with a delicate, perfumed finish. Bottled just after the 2024 harvest, it was matured in 10-year-old foudres, concrete tanks and one new demi-muid (600-liter barrel). The wine had malolactic fermentation.

Stone fruits, peach blossoms, and delicate floral notes emerge from Clape's 2023 Saint-Péray. Medium-bodied and fresh on the palate, it has a supple, seamless texture with integrated acidity and outstanding length. With an almost cool-climate-like vibe, it's best enjoyed over the coming 2-4 years. Drink 2025-2029.
The legendary Domaine A. Clape is the very essence of traditionally made Northern Rhône. This world-class estate was the first in Cornas to estate-bottle Syrah and sell it under their own name. Auguste Clape’s passion for the region was so strong, he even went on to become its mayor. In the world of wine, there are many good winegrowers. However, there are only a very select few who are truly great, and Auguste Clape will go down in history as one of those greats. Today, his son, Pierre-Marie, and grandson, Olivier, carry on his legacy with honor and integrity.
