Frequency Portico Hills Vineyard is renowned for its unique terroir and exceptional winemaking philosophy. Located in the picturesque Santa Barbara County, this vineyard produces wines that capture the essence of the region. The 2021 Graciano is a testament to this, offering vibrant flavors and a rich character that wine enthusiasts will appreciate.
Composition: Graciano 100%
Winemaking: The fermentation process is meticulously controlled to enhance the natural flavors of the grape, utilizing both traditional and modern techniques.
Aging: Aged in oak barrels to achieve a well-balanced profile with subtle oak nuances.
Wine Enthusiast (94): Like many who thought they'd bought a special clone of Mourvèdre, winemaker Zac Wasserman accidentally made his first batches of Graciano. But he's embraced the grape in serious ways. This bottling begins with black plum, black raspberry and purple-flower aromas on a fascinatingly intense nose. The palate adds boysenberry and lavender, with a firm structure. Vintage: 2021
