Our Tasting Note (7/23): Ruby purple red, ruby edges.  The nose is med+ with red strawberry, cherry, and raspberry coulis, mineral, soil and spice notes accent. The palate is medium bodied, fresh, light on its feet elegant, balanced with medium acidity, med+ flavor intensity, and a long, succulent, fresh finish. We were very impressed with this wine, so much so that we requested a second pour (this does not happen very often)! This is a "Baby Pommard", with a gorgeous nose of baking spices, tart cherries from 70 year-old vines! Highly recommended!

• From vines previously tended by Domaine Gabriel Billard  - which are now tended to by Claudie Jobard
• 4 hectares of parcels in and around Pommard with 70+ year old vines
• Certified organic farming with only natural composts, minimal treatments in the vines and regular light tilling
• Wild-yeast fermentations, hands off winemaking, used French oak barrel elevages
• The frequency of stirring and the duration of aging in barrels vary according to the vintage.
