Our Take
This is made with grapes from one of the same vineyards that produces their epic Syrahs (De’ Canonici), it is just harvested earlier and pressed directly to capture the fresher, more energetic side of the variety. The 2025 is a vivid magenta red, with fresh wild strawberry, tart cherry and raspberry joined by blood orange, peach skin, rose petals, fresh herbs and Syrah’s characteristic white-pepper spice. The palate is dry, bright and energetic, with more substance and texture than a typical pale Provençal rosé. A gentle phenolic grip gives the wine shape, while persistent acidity carries the red fruit, citrus and savory herbal notes through the energetic finish.
