Le Ragose Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2019 offers a complex bouquet of intense black cherry, coffee, cocoa powder, and currant. The wine is dense and ripe, featuring lush berries and a hint of dark chocolate. A vibrant acidity and surprising minerality add intrigue to this wine of power and elegance.
Composition: Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grape varietals.
Winemaking: Traditional fermentation with extended maceration.
Aging: Aged in oak barrels for 24 months.
James Suckling (93): A restrained wine with aromas of flowers, leather, bay leaves, raspberries, plums and sour cherries. Medium- to full-bodied, it shows firm ripe tannins, lifted acidity and a toasty, peppery aftertaste. Drinkable now, but best from 2026. VintageTasted: 2019
