Our Tasting Note:
A med+ruby red core, still mostly transparent. A pronounced nose, more of everything: black cherry, black raspberry, blueberries, with saddle leather, mixed spices of licorice and all spice, subtle olive and mint in the background, some dried roses too.  Med to full bodied, med/med+ acidity and tannins are more+, a pronounced palate, long, complex, and intense finish.  Excellent here too and a level up on the Naoussa!

Grape: 100% Xinomavro
Soils: Limestone with schist and clay top soils.
Vineyards: Blend of the best parcels of the estate, 45 years old, certified organic. 70% are located around Trilofos village. 30% comes from the surroundings of Fytia village. Fytia village adds complexity and finesse to the blend. Vines are young, non-irrigated and planted at 200–500 meters.

Vineyard: Higher altitude parcels around the village of Fytia and warmer, lower parcels adjacent to Trilofos village. Trilofos: 150–250m ASL Fytia: 450–650m ASL.
Microclimate: Warm climate tempered by the Mediterranean winds and by the air flowing down from Vermio mountain play a determinant role in the ripening period, protecting the grapes by maintaining low temperatures.
