The Blanc is Vermentino (Vermentinu in Corsican dialect), THE white grape of choice in Corsica. Our Tasting Note
A wonderfully vibrant Mediterranean white. Aromas of white peach, Meyer lemon, green pear, and citrus blossom are layered with hints of fresh herbs, sea spray, and crushed stone. On the palate, it is crisp and energetic with med/med+ acidity that balanced the juicy orchard and citrus fruits with mouthwatering acidity and a distinctly saline, mineral finish that reflects its island origins. Light-bodied yet remarkably expressive, it delivers exceptional purity, freshness, and finesse.  Long, elegant and fresh on the finish!

An ideal companion to oysters, grilled fish, shellfish, Mediterranean salads, and fresh goat cheeses, this is the kind of white that disappears quickly on a warm afternoon. Refreshing, complex, and effortlessly drinkable, Blanc de Marquiliani remains one of the finest examples of Corsica's distinctive white wines made from Vermentino.

Viticulture / Vinification
• 100% Vermentino (Vermentinu)
• 1 ha of vines in schist and granite gravel with silt soils
• Juice ferments in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks
• Regular stirring of the lees before bottling 6 months later
• Wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation
