The 2021 Pinot Noir X Omni Vineyard is the inaugural release of estate-grown Pinot Noir from X Omni. Matured for 18 months in 60% new French oak, it’s brimming with scents of pomegranate, wild berry pie, blood orange, forest floor and lichen. The medium-bodied palate features layer after layer of bright, spicy fruit. It’s framed by super silky tannins and bright, mouthwatering acidity, and it has a very long, layered finish. 1,548 bottles produced. Published: Dec 04, 2025

Really good, just like their Chardonnay from this site, the 2021 ‘X Novo Vineyard’ Pinot Noir offers citrus rind notes on the nose alongside cranberry and shades of red licorice and allspice. The palate is very mineral-driven with good verve and beautiful strawberry, pomegranate seed and volcanic soil notes. Enjoy now and over the next fifteen plus years.

Mostly destemmed and fermented as whole berries in open-top tanks with minimal punch-downs. 18 months in approximately 60% new oak barrels, again perfectly integrated without a noticeable impact.

Our Tasting Note: Med+ ruby core, still transparent. The med+ nose is like a bouquet of flowers, sweet lingonberry, acai, blueberry, cola. A complex and thought provoking nose. Med+ body, medium tannin, intense, dense but very elegant and finished palate, with a long, fresh, complex.

Winery: The 2021 Pinot Noir X Omni Vineyard is wild, lifting from the glass like a basket of ripe berries, complemented by hints of cola, sweet spice and violet. This is juicy in character, with masses of ripe red and blue fruits that swirl throughout as vibrant acidity maintains fantastic energy. Sour citrus tones add lovely inner tension. An air of lavender lingers as the 2021 finishes long, gently tannic and staining, balancing a saturation of primary fruit.
