The 2022 Riesling Forster Jesuitengarten Grosses Gewächs was drawn from used tonneau. The nose is still closed, but there is a hint of herbal tisane despite the essentially shy nature of this sample. An aromatic apple juiciness is as ripe as it is tart. The palate is juicy and shows an immense balance between that rounded orchard fruit and this sprightly fillip of freshness.
