Our Take: Delicate and feather-light, the 2025 First Man Rosé of Pinot Noir offers subtle aromas of wild strawberry, white peach, and citrus blossom with a whisper of fresh herbs. The palate is airy and graceful, carried by bright acidity and a fine mineral thread that leads to a clean, refreshing finish.

Always a fresh and exuberant take on the recent vintage, the First Man is our deftest effort to date.  Aromatically vibrant with citrus rind, honeysuckle and candied strawberries, the rounded attack gives way to mouthwatering acids against supple, almost silky edges.  While the aromas are compact and powerful, the lower sugars at harvest allowed for our mildest alcohol level yet.  The sense of freshness and lift is only enhanced by this restraint, and makes this one even easier to vanish out of the glass.
